The long-awaited occasion, Eid-ul-Fitr is almost around the corner. Being on the run from here and there, we panic so much that we don’t realize the things we miss out. Breathe! Relax. Here’s a list of all the things that will remind you of the things you need to check on.
1. PREPARE GIFTS
Eid is definitely incomplete without gifts and Eid Mubarak cards. What makes this Eid more special is the Eidi we get from our elders that increase our excitement to a whole new level.
2. PREPARE YOUR BREAKFAST
It has always been a habit in my family to cook food for Eid prior to the Eid day so that we all can be relaxed in the morning because there’s nothing better than having a morning breakfast with your family on Eid.
3. CHOOSE YOUR BEST ATTIRE!
Pick out your best dress beforehand so that you don’t have to worry about exactly what to wear in the morning because choosing ‘what to wear?’ is definitely a super hard decision for everyone.
There are people who live miles apart from us and there are few with whom we haven’t connected in ages so greet them on this occasion, invite them over, send Eid Mubarak messages to the ones you can’t meet. It’s a small way to make your loved ones feel special.
5. DON’T FORGET YOUR NEIGHBORS
Most of us live in areas where our neighbors are non-Muslim. So look out for them, prepare a dish and go to their house. Tell them about Eid-ul-Fitr and make them feel like home.
HAVE A BLAST AND ENJOY WITH YOUR AND LOVED ONES! MAKE THE MOST OF IT.
