Innallha wa Inna Illaihi Rajioun’ – renowned Qawwal, Amjad Sabri, famous for dozens of impeccable qawwalis, has succumbed to his injuries after gunmen opened fire on his car in Karachi, media reports.
The legendary Qawwal of Pakistan was gunned down in Liaquatabad area of Karachi after unknown gunmen crossed his path and shot him dead. The Qawwal famous for his legendary tracks such as “Tajdar-e-Haram” and “Bhar-do-Jholi Meri” has left the world way too early. Pakistani media claims that his death was a result of a terrorist attack.
