‘I Am Very Excited’ – Hasan Ali Signs England’s County Lancashire

It’s a great moment for all the Pakistani cricket fans that national players are being signed by England county teams which are big in their region.

Looking at the previous generation, there have been several Pakistani cricketers who have contributed their skills deeply to England’s famous county teams and gained respect.

It’s a huge opportunity for the players to showcase their ultimate skills and leave their mark in their country in a good manner. That’s what Pakistan’s cricket former players did in the past generation such as Wasim Akram, Waqar Younus, etc.

And Lancashire England’s county team believes that one of Pakistan’s pacers would add value to their team and they have targeted the man who played an important key role in ICC Champions Trophy 2017.

Hasan Ali has joined the Lancashire for the upcoming 2022 season and it’s great news for both of them. He looks excited while talking to the media, he shared his feelings and was happy to be part of the Lancashire.

Hasan Ali, the 27-year-old pacer who has already proven in the test format with his exceptional performances throughout 2021. With 72 wickets at an average of 21 in Test matches and an overall First-Class tally of 244 wickets at 23.

While talking to the media, his happiness can be seen through his mesmerizing words and love for cricket. It’s a moment for any Pakistani player to represent their nation and contribute their skills in England’s county teams.

Hasan Ali said, “I am very excited at the prospect of playing county cricket in England for the first time in my career.

“Emirates Old Trafford is a stadium that holds special memories for me, after making my T20 International debut against England there in 2016.

“I am very proud to follow in the footsteps of Wasim Akram, a Pakistan legend, who always talks so highly of his time with Lancashire. I can’t wait to join up with the squad in April and I hope to make a significant contribution in the games that I play.”

The head coach of Lancashire Glenn Chapple expressed his feelings on the new signing. He said, “Hasan is a high-quality player and has a fine record in first-class and Test match cricket.

Other Pakistani players joined England’s country teams recently

Up till now, there are a lot of other Pakistani players who have joined England’s county teams based on their marvelous performances. For this season, Shan Masood (Derbyshire), Zafar Gohar, Naseem Shah both (Gloucestershire), Mohammad Abbas (Hampshire), Shaheen Shah Afridi (Middlesex), Mohammed Rizwan (Sussex), Azhar Ali (Worcestershire) and Haris Rauf (Yorkshire).

Hasan Ali will be at the Old Trafford Emirates on April 1 and will make his English county debut against Kent at Canterbury on April 14.
