Mohammad Hafeez Tests COVID-19 Negative A Day After Being Declared Positive By PCB

Pakistani cricketer Mohammad Hafeez along with 6 other members of Pakistan cricket team was tested positive for coronavirus on Tuesday. However, soon after the result came out, Hafeez once again got himself tested for his personal satisfaction. This time the reports came negative.

Hafeez shared the news Twitter that he went through another coronavirus test and had been tested negative. But, this has raised some serious questions on the authorities. How Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) scheduled testing got positive results while the private hospital results came negative?

Obviously, one of the results is not authentic and in any case. If PCB testing weren’t accurate than all the Pakistan cricket team members should get them tested again.

The results have halted Pakistan’s cricketing tour to England. And if the private hospital result is not accurate then people who are being regularly tested there should be concerned about it.

PCB on Tuesday confirmed that the total number of COVID-19 positive players now stands at 10.

Earlier on Monday, Shadab Khan, Haris Rauf, and Haider Ali tested positive. On Tuesday, PCB announced that seven more players have tested positive before the England tour.  The team was to depart for the tour on June 28.
