Game of Thrones is a show that is based on the best-selling book series “A Song of Ice and Fire” by George R.R. Martin’s and was brought to the screen by HBO. It started in 2011 and conquered the world without any doubt. It came as a storm and took everyone with it; without leaving anything behind. From the very first episode, it left the audience puzzled with the fate of Jon Snow which turned the series into a huge win and made a home or as they say a throne in the heart of its viewers. Episode by episode this series kept raising the bar for any other series which still goes on air. It’s still setting the mark for all those series who want viewers to religiously follow them.

But talking about following, Game of Thrones has completely nailed it the reports claim that it has crossed the humongous figure 25.1 million viewers and the figure is still increasing. All their ardent supporters have gone so crazy after this series that the curiosity in them can’t even let them wait for the winter to come; the throne has become the top priority of everyone to such an extent that the fourth episode of games of thrones got leaked online in a middling quality be a Pakistani.

The hacker leaked the episode on Reddit and captioned it “Gift of Pakistan” which gives a hint about his citizenship. It has been told to The Verge by the sources that are familiar with HBO security branch that this leak from a distribution partner is the source of this episode appearing online. The episode uploaded on the google drive spread like a fire in the woods but it was quickly removed due to the violation of copyrights. However, till then the keen audience recorded the episode and uploaded it themselves on their respective forums. Earlier in this week, the shows with unaired episodes of the premium cable networks, containing Duplass Brothers’ anthology show Room 104, were leaked straight away.
It’s funny how the logo of Star India who is the distribution parts appears throughout the leaked episode. A spokesperson of Star India has said that “This confirms the compromise of episode 4 of Game of Thrones Season 7, earlier this afternoon,” which confirms the leak in the statement to The Verge.

“We take this breach very seriously and have immediately initiated forensic investigations at our and the technology partner’s end to swiftly determine the cause. This is a grave issue and we are taking appropriate legal remedial action.”
