As the coronavirus pandemic has halted all operations around the world, it is about time everything gets into its original place. Taking up a similar notion, recently, the government of Pakistan has come up with a positive solution.
Analysing the economic turmoil caused by the global pandemic, the government has decided to calm the restrictions. Apparently, the lockdown was earlier extended till May 30th making earning even harder for the underprivileged. Taking that in the notice along with the economic meltdown, the coronavirus lockdown is about to get eased in the coming days.

In the meeting, the cabinet members got a briefing about the current situation and the government efforts to control then pandemic. Speaking on the issue, PM Khan stated, ”It is very important to open businesses because of the poor people. Especially the daily wagers are suffering. This lockdown has affected the daily wagers and labours the most.”
PM Imran Khan on the condition of the underprivileged
Moving on, Khan further expressed his concerns over the worsening situation of the underprivileged community. ”The government is striving to provide every possible relief to the masses amid the challenge posed by the coronavirus. The deserving families are being provided with cash assistance of Rs12000 per family in the most transparent manner and on merit”, he added.
Apparently, the Standard Operating Procedure (SOP)’s are made for the business sector. PM Imran Khan on the prepared SOP’s said that the elected representatives should act accordingly and play their role in the implementation. Further, he expressed his concerns over the daily wagers who have now lost their income completely due to the lockdown.
”The government is striving to provide every possible relief to the masses amid the challenge posed by coronavirus”, Khan asserted. Well, there’s no deniability that the nation needs some ease desperately, but, what about the rising death rate? With over 20,000 confirmed cases, Pakistan’s coronavirus death tally has surpassed 500 and it’s alarming.
While many are appreciating the ‘ease lockdown’ decision, others are in worry about the further escalation in the virus. Hopefully, the authorities have prepared for that as well, in case the situation gets worse.
