France has broken the Guinness record for longest baguette! A team of 18 exceptional bakers worked together to accomplish this incredible feat, returning the crown to France from Italy.
During the Suresnes Baguette Show near Paris, bakers worked tirelessly to bake a baguette measuring 140.53 meters (461 feet), breaking Italy’s previous record. The event celebrated French craftsmanship and culinary excellence.
The usual baking process began at 3 a.m., with the team closely monitoring each step until the official measurement was taken in the early evening. A portion of the gigantic baguette was graciously shared with the public, with the remainder donated to those in need, demonstrating the spirit of community and compassion.
