Pakistan’s Army has arrested former spymaster of Pakistan, General Faiza Hameed. The arrest came into arrest with the Supreme Court’s order in the Top City Scandal. Moreover, Faiz served as Director General ISI during Imran Khan’s tenure.
Additionally, Pakistanis find it shocking, since the military has been the most dominant force in the country, having ruled the country for half of its independence. More insights reveal reservations by the top city authorities over Faiz’s misuse of power, which were filed in Pakistan’s top court. Meanwhile, the SC ordered the military to move ahead with arrests.

However, Faiz also violated the Army’s code of conduct, as per statement of Director General ISPR.
Additionally, a statement by DG ISPR does not hold Imran Khan, the former ousted PM. Therefore, many conclude that Khan’s release and jail imprisonment stand separate from the whole issue. So, many find it quite, constantly linking Khan’s abuse of power with Faiz as a spymaster.
