Lori Beiswenger wrestled a 7ft alligator with her bare hands in desperate attempt to save her beloved dog from the reptile.

Lori heard Hope, her 9 year old dog screaming from the pond, without wasting any time Lori Beiswenger jumped into the pond and grabbed hold of the the gator’s tail. She started pulling on it’s tail, while neck-deep in water, in a attempt to save her afflicted pet. Three pulls later, the gator finally let go of nine-year-old Hope.

The dog has been injured severely including a damaged artery in the attack. After having emergency surgery and stitches to her chest and side, the dog is now recovering from the brutal attack.
