Fulfilling their duties exceptionally during these terrible times, doctors, health workers, and law enforcement officials are the real heroes. Since the initial outbreak of the deadly coronavirus, the situation across the world has just turned towards the worst.
In saving others, several doctors and law enforcers have lost their own lives after coming in contact with the disease. Currently, doctors and their families are at high risk while fighting the pandemic and deserve every ounce of respect. As per the latest reports, Pakistan’s Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KPK) region recently lost its first police official to coronavirus and its heart-breaking.
KPK’s loses its first police official to coronavirus
Unfortunately, the frontline officials can easily contract the virus as they daily come in contact with several affected people without even knowing. The overall tally of the coronavirus in Pakistan is near to 20,000 currently and is still increasing. Not getting any proper facilitation, the risk of facing severe consequences can be extremely alarming and maybe, death.

It is quite unfortunate to witness such officials losing their precious lives while taking care of the nation in this crisis. According to details, Fahim Umar, a constable from Nowshera police, recently died after testing positive for coronavirus. The 36-year-old official served the bomb disposal squad in Nowshera and was originally from the Charsadda area.
The constable was shifted and was getting treatment in a local hospital in Peshawar after contracting the deadly coronavirus. However, Fahim Umar couldn’t recover and lost his life battle earlier this week. Apparently, till now, there were no reports of any police official dying of coronavirus in KPK and this is the first one.
Pakistanis violating the lockdown, risking many lives
Certainly, the imposition of lockdown by the government didn’t have any positive impact on the citizens as the situation displays. Such violators eventually result in the further spread of the disease and even put many other lives in danger. Well, keeping other provinces aside, the most vulnerable condition is of the Sindh area where no one is held accountable for violations.
Previously, the Sindh police even started arresting people but that couldn’t even keep the citizens indoors. Several shameless and stubborn Karachiites were also seen traveling with seven people on a single bike. Such neglect and mindless Pakistanis are the biggest reason behind the widespread of coronavirus in the country.
It is still uncertain whether or not this virus will end soon but, till then we can stop being ignorant for the sake of ourselves and others. Please, adhere to the advised precautionary measures and save lives.
