FINALLY! Some exciting news for e-sports lovers in the country. Four teams from Karachi have successfully reached the Free Fire Continental Series (FFCS) Asia 2020 Pakistan Qualifier Finale.
Happening for the first time, the fully-virtual series has brought together the top Free Fire teams from Pakistan as they compete to be recognized as the country’s best.

In the group stages of Karachi qualifiers on October 17, 72 teams with around 320 players (including substitutes) participated.
Teams were further divided into six groups. Four teams from each group qualified for the semi-finals. A total of 18 matches were played on Saturday, and 24 teams qualified for the semis on October 18.

Six teams from each group qualified for the finals while only 12 reached the ‘Karachi Qualifier Finals’. It was played on the same day.
Four teams – Cloud Seven, MakeYouCry, Team Alpha, and Bad Guyz – qualified for the ‘Pakistan Qualifier Finale’ which will take place on November 7.

What’s next?
FFCS Qualifier Pakistan has two phases. First, the city qualifiers in Karachi, Lahore, and Islamabad. Then the final will be held online with the top four of each city on November 7.
Lahore qualifiers are happening coming weekend on October 24 and 25 at Four Points by Sheraton.

Similarly, next up will be Islamabad qualifiers on October 31 and November 1 at Avari Express Hotel.
Remember that only the teams with the fastest and proper registration will be chosen. So, hurry up!
The Free Fire Continental Series (FFCS) 2020 was announced in August and will substitute the World Series 2020, which was canceled due to the coronavirus pandemic.

The tournament is happening online in three regions: Americas, Asia, and Europe, the Middle East, and Africa (EMEA). The FFCS Asia Series, includes Pakistan, China, India, Indonesia, Malaysia, Philippines, Cambodia, Thailand, Vietnam, and other markets in the region.
The FFCS Asia 2020 ‘Pakistan Qualifier Finale’ will happen on November 7 between teams from Karachi, Islamabad, and Lahore. The total prize pool is Rs2,000,000. The total prize pool for Free Fire’s flagship tournament for 2020 is $300,000. WOW! Are you guys excited!
