Veteran actor Nauman Ijaz recently expressed his disappointment over social media creating misunderstandings with Faysal Quraishi over some remarks.
The two of them made headlines this week for their cross-communication on social media regarding their availability and respect for each other.
Given the social media trends and virality, the Raqeeb Se actor thinks it created unnecessary differences between the actors. Taking to Instagram, Ijaz shared that he hopes people on social media help mend differences and bring people together instead of running “Chaudhry pages” that spread hatred instead of love.
“Allah inko hidayat de, Ameen [May Allah guide them to the right path],” the actor concluded.
A little background:
Earlier this week, a social media user requested the G Sarkar host to invite the Fitoor star on his popular talk show. To which he responded saying, “He [Faysal Quraishi] is too busy. He does not have time for us. We have contacted him many times.”
To his surprise, the comment went viral in no time and eventually reached Quraishi as well. The Dil-e-Momin actor then penned an apology on his Instagram story addressing the veteran actor.
Quraishi took to his Instagram addressing Ijaz with an apology message sharing that he “holds massive respect” for the veteran actor.
“Nauman Ijaz is my big brother, my mentor, and he can say whatever he wants to me and can even slap me in public, but I will not say a word knowing there a few seniors of mine who made me what I am today,” wrote Quraishi. “He has also supported me greatly. I will come to you whenever you order!”
Calling him his brother, mentor, and beloved friend, the Bashar Momin actor denied being “too busy” for the actor and said that he would have come immediately if Ijaz ordered him to.
Quraishi previously talked about the difficulties women in showbiz face following the birth of their children, and how this has forced him to star with much younger leading ladies in his serials.
The actor lately also posted a video of his son Farmaan reacting to a scene from his drama Dil-e-Momin in which he is beaten up, sparking mixed reactions on the internet. While some believed it was funny and cute, others thought it was inappropriate for him as well as traumatizing.
