In a tragic incident in Shangla on Tuesday, a father died trying to save his son who was stuck in a chairlift. The man fell into the Indus River while trying to reach the chairlift with a rope, but the rope broke and he was swept away by the strong current.
The chairlift had trapped the boy in Shangla, a popular area known for its beautiful mountains. Thankfully, local residents managed to rescue the boy after a lot of effort.

A search operation was launched to find the father, but his body has not been recovered yet. Chairlift and cable car accidents are common in Pakistan, often due to poor safety checks, making rescue efforts difficult.
