America is a fashion hub. It has amazing diversity and some stick-to-it fashion rules as well. As a formal wear, dresses should be clean, ironed and neatly worn. Like anywhere else in the world, USA has two different trends i.e. Casual and Formal. In both cases, the above-mentioned points are to be taken care of, plus… they should fit properly.
Now, let’s discuss what are some fashion trends in the USA these days.
Stripes are ageless. They are the miracles that keep happening all the time. Roopal Patel, fashion director of Saks Fifth Avenue says, “they have nine lives”. They can be part of your formal as well as casual dresses, distinguished only by the style they are being worn with. Wear a loose harem stripe pant for a casual look or wear a striped collar shirt and you are good to go for a corporate meeting.
Athletic Inspired Pieces:
These are the new ins. They are a part of easy wearables that give a sleek look. This trend is going to charm the fashion of spring 2017.
What you shouldn’t wear if you want to be fashion trendy in the USA.
They topped the list of fashionista’s in 1990 but sadly they are nowhere now. Although, they can sit in your wardrobe and wait for colder weather but else turtle necks are a big NO.
Don’t make a sin of wearing them in this era. Although embroidered denim skirts are trespassing the trend this season but skinny embroidered denim is a complete shift down to your fashion statement.
These are some of the do’s and dont’s of fashion in the United States. Just make sure you are comfortable in wearing what you choose to wear. When you feel good about yourself, you also end up looking good to other people as well.
