Pakistan Cricket Council’s (PCB) Board of Government (BoG) suggested the PCB upgrade Faisalabad Cricket Stadium according to international standards. Moreover, it was suggested that the PCB seek complete control of the cricket stadium.
The suggestion came forward in the 74th meeting under chairmen Mohsin Naqvi. Meanwhile, the meeting followed the Champion One-Day Cup opening match between Markhors and Panthers.

Additionally, Mohsin Naqvi was praised for bringing in competitive and reputed organizations to partner in the cup. Finally, the BoG suggested that the Champion Cup should be included in the T-20 and four-day format, making it part of the PCB’s constitution. Therefore, allowing domestic cricket to grow and prosper.
