Quality education is what every parent looks forward to when their child is eligible to go to school. Pakistan is one of those very few countries where the system of education has constantly deteriorated. The education system currently is so weak that is almost near collapse. No wonder the children face a hard time during their educational career in this country.
The famous celebrity, Faisal Qureshi, exposed the courses that are being taught in schools in Pakistan to grade three students and how they are inappropriate by all means and do not relate to the subject in any way in his show. The negligence of parents have played a huge role in this, since majority of the parents are not aware of what is being taught to their children in schools. From stories related to boyfriends and going to the bar, to sexual education (not exactly what the child needs to know, but other stuff) and what not, which has now become a part of the syllabus in some schools.

The video pretty much sums up the current situation of our education system and how it is affecting our children. It is necessary for all the parents to keep an eye on their children and raise their voices against any issue. Sitting quiet will not change anything. in fact, it would just affect the learning growth of their child.
It’s high time that we overcome this alarming situation which should be the better implementation of the existing policies and system. The curriculum and syllabus should be appropriate to the needs of today’s world and what would be beneficial to the child’s growth and learning. Parents need to be more vigilant and need to see what their children are being taught at school.
Weekly or monthly visits to the school would be advisable for parents so they are updated. Also, the governmental bodies should take strict actions against it because this is certainly not what the parents would want for their child to be taught in schools and it is something every parent needs to be concerned about.
