An advertisement for Samsung’s Turkey branch known as “Hearing Hands’ shows the residents of Bagcilar, (suburban district, Istanbul) learning sign language so that a deaf neighbor, Muharrem, could communicate properly with other members of his community.
The advertisement aims at promoting Samsung’s video conferencing service designed especially for the hearing-impaired. The video was uploaded on an advertising blog on 3rd March. Since then it has racked up over 5.5 million views.
