England Cricket Board Talked To The Media
ECB Chief Executive Tom Harrison said, ‘We have been prepared for this moment, and mindful that the emergence of the Delta variant, along with our move away from the stringent enforcement of biosecure environments, could increase the chances of an outbreak,”
“We made a strategic choice to try to adapt protocols, to support the overall wellbeing of our players and management staff who have spent much of the 14 months living in very restricted conditions.
“Overnight we have worked swiftly to identify a new squad, and we are grateful to Ben Stokes who will return to England duties to captain.”
It looks like last year when Pakistan Cricket Team’s England tour faced some Covid-19 cases and things didn’t go well.
Pakistan Cricket Board Satisfied & No Change
On the other hand, Pakistan Cricket Board is fully satisfied with the protocols offered by the England Cricket Board (ECB).
As the Board stated, Pakistan Cricket Board has been in close contact with the England and Wales Cricket Board regarding concerns about the health and safety of its players since the news of the Covid-19 outbreak in the England camp.”
Pakistan Cricket Board PCB said, “The PCB is satisfied by the assurances and guarantees provided by the ECB on behalf of its medical panel,” “it has been in touch with the team management, advising them to exercise “extra caution” at the hotel and the match venues.”
Pakistan’s squad remained the same as they are taking extra precautions mentioned above. Pakistan Cricket Team reached England to play T20 and ODI series. They are already in isolation in Derby.

Even the Pakistani skipper Babar Azam said, the England series would be helpful in the team’s preparation for the World Cup and warned that England is not an easy opponent.
Pakistan’s performance in the previous tours had been good, however, he warned of any complacency.
“The English team will not be an easy opponent on their home ground. This is a good opportunity for World Cup preparation.”
No doubt, it’s a great opportunity for the national side to get a deep look into their squad’s performance for the upcoming T20 World Cup 2021 and a major advantage for the Pakistan Cricket Team is that venue is the United Arab Emirates.
