The wait is over! Finally, the leading actor of a popular Turkish TV series, Engin Altan Duzyatan has arrived in Pakistan. You all must be over the moon, we suppose. According to reports, Duzyatan landed at Lahore airport for a short visit to Pakistan on Thursday morning.
The historic Turkish blockbuster is very popular in Pakistan. It earned heroic status after Pakistan Television (PTV) telecast a version dubbed in Urdu. As the show is based on the life and times of the 13th-century, it took the nation by storm. In the show, Ertugrul plays the role of a Muslim Oghuz Turk leader.
Pakistanis have not only loved the storyline but they are also obsessed with the cast. Within days of the first telecast, the fan following for the series and its actors surged, especially the Turkish actor Duzyatan.
And if there is any character who has been loved the most in the entire drama series, it is Ertugrul Ghazi. Owing to his outstanding performance in the historic drama series, Duzyatan became a household name in Pakistan.
Pakistan Embassy in Turkey announced his arrival on Twitter and shared a photo of Ertugrul after he landed at Lahore’s Allama Iqbal International Airport earlier today. As per the details, the lead actor of Dirilis Ertugrul has arrived in Pakistan at the invitation of a private company.
Here’s the reason behind his visit to Pakistan
Earlier, we did a story on a famous Pakistani TikToker Mian Kashif Zameer who is known for wearing loads of gold about 4 kilos in various ornaments in his daily life. We learned that he belongs to a well-off family with a family-owned business, with him being the managing direction (MD) of Chaudhry Group of Companies.
In an interview, Kashif shared that he met Duzyatan in Turkey. It must be noted that being a huge fan of the Turkish actor, he gifted him a ring which has the Pakistani value of about 60 lac rupees; made from pure diamond, and gold, and is 24 carats. As a return gift, the actor also gave him three rings that he wore in the drama series.
Moving on, the TikTok star revealed that he is soon to launch Duzyatan as the brand ambassador of his company. In order to make him the brand ambassador, Kashif agreed to spend 17 crores over him.
In addition to this, in the meeting the two had in Turkey, the TikToker ensured the actor’s security in Pakistan. He also discussed the places he will be staying in Lahore, as well as the people he would be meeting.

However, due to a surge in coronavirus cases in the country, Duzyatan may not be able to meet his fans. Pakistani fans are delighted with the latest development. Though many can not meet him in person, they are actively greeting the Turkish star on social media #PakistanWelcomesErtugrul.
