Dua Zehra case comes with reunited with her parents after a long dedicated case went on for months and the court announced the decision in the favor of the girl.

People might have forgotten about Dua Zehra’s case, which was the big headlining news a few months back and every news outlet covered it.

Before today’s announcement, the court announced she to stay with her husband and she’s willing to do that.

But Sindh High Court turned the table towards Dua’s parent’s favor.

On Friday, the Sindh High Court (SHC) ruled that the 14-year-old girl, who was reported missing from Karachi on April 16, 2022, must temporarily turn over custody.

The whole argument was listened to by Justice Iqbal Kalhoro of the SHC, and the young girl was also brought before the court.

Justice Iqbal asked the girl whether she wants to stay with her parents or at the shelter home during the hearing. In response to the judge, the 14-year-old said, “She wants to go to her parent’s home and be with them.”

It’s not a permanent custody case, the trial court will decide who will have the girl’s permanent custody.
