It has almost been half a month since we lost the beautiful and jolly soul of Sushant Singh Rajput. And as if the grief of this rising star’s untimely demise hadn’t made us shed enough tears. The trailer of his final film, ‘Dil Bechara’ is out. And looks like, we’ll have to get our tissues and couches ready for crying again.

Dil Bechara trailer is out and oh dear

Dil Bechara is a beautiful story about love, hope, and trust. It is an adaptation of the famous book by John Green, Fault in Our Stars. And to say that Sushant Singh Rajput did justice to his role is an understatement.

The trailer also shows the protagonist, female lead, Sanjana Sanghi, who is suffering from cancer. And amazingly, what we find most inspiring is how Sushant Singh Rajput plays the role of a boy who becomes the ray of sunshine in her life.

Sushant Singh Rajput took his life on 14th June 2020. And although the police and autopsy reports suggest that the case is ruled as ‘suicide’, fans and many stars like Kangana Ranaut are ruling the loss of this amazing star equivalent to planned murder. The lovable and jolly star was never accepted by the Bollywood mafia. Even young stars like Alia Bhatt gave him a tough time.

So it isn’t surprising for us to see how this amazing soul felt left out and broken until he let his depression take over him. Twitterati and netizens have been coming up with a different set of conspiracy theories. May be these theories are true, maybe they are wrong; but one thing is for sure, if Sushant Singh ever thought, he wasn’t recognized or loved; he was wrong.

Sushant Singh Rajput – A talented and beautiful soul

Sushant Singh was loved more than anything. He had great potential and his performance in Dil Bechara proves it. A famous dialogue from the movie Dil Bechara, that caught our attention is:

As soon as the trailer of Dil Bechara was released, fans are pouring in their loving messages. And each tweet and message is sweeter than the last one.

“We don’t get to decide when we are born or when we die”.

And hearing Sushant Singh say it; creates more depth to the message of the film then there is.

Even co-star and female lead Sanjana Sanghi broke down while she shared a heartfelt message for Sushant Singh Rajput on her Instagram.

. . You gave me a forever, within a limited number of days, and for that. I’m forever grateful. – our beloved novel, The Fault In Our Stars A forever of learnings, and of memories. I refreshed my web pages a 100 times hoping I’m reading some sort of horrible joke. I’m not equipped to process any of this. I don’t think I ever will be. I’m definitely not equipped to articulate my feelings, this is me failing, but trying. Sushant and I were to save all our anecdotes, moments and stories from the time we spent shooting together up until the release of our film, so we had kept them in our stomachs all this while. After 2 years of seemingly all the possible difficulties one single film can face, with all sorts of crap constantly being written, and being relentlessly pursued – we were supposed to FINALLY watch the film, our labour of love, together – my first, and what you told me you believed was your best film yet. Amidst your journey, and in the middle of 16 hour long shoot days, you somehow found a way and had a desire to yell out to me from the opposite side of set screaming “Rockstar, itni achi acting thodi na karte hain paagal!” ; To guide me over things big & small through our film’s process, To tell me to conserve my energy on set; To discuss even the smallest nuance you thought could change the narrative of a scene and would whole heartedly accept my disagreement; To discuss ways in which we could together forge a brighter educational future for the children of India. You were a force Manny, and you always will be. We’re going to spend an eternity to try and make sense of what you’ve left us behind with, and I personally never will be able to. I simply wish you never left us behind in the first place. Just know, you have a country full of millions, looking up at you, smiling at you, thankful for you. As you smile back at us, from up above. The fact that you get to spend the rest of your time by your mother’s side, I know you gives the only happiness you wanted in the world. #RIPSushantSinghRajput

Sanjana Sanghi mentions that it was Sushant Singh’s vibrant nature that made her admire her co-star. And she can’t still get over the fact that he is gone. And we completely agree with her. You left us too soon Sushant Singh Rajput and we will always miss you. You will always live in our hearts for the amazing person and outstanding performer you were. May you rest in peace.

The trailer of Dil Bechara shows a remarkable love story and although the film is going to be another rollercoaster of tears and wind up emotions, we are sure that you all will be there to honor Sushant Singh Rajput this one last time. Because we all know he deserves it. And a lot more.
