Islamabad administration has started a crackdown against illegal pharmacies operating in the capital. Steps were taken after 20 cases of violation were filed.
Islamabad’s Quality Control Board has directed its Drug Control Section to seize all pharmacies working without a pharmacist. Additionally, the Quality Control Board has enhanced its vigilance on the sub-standard medicines being supplied in the country’s capital.

Meanwhile, 20 cases have been filed for violation under the Drug Act. Moreover, two cases are seeing prosecution. Furthermore, sub-standard product sales have seen a ban on five pharmacies. Additionally, warning notices have been issued to 10 pharmacies.
