Looking over to the deadly health conditions, Pakistan has decided to halt all international flights for the upcoming two weeks. As the conditions of the world become more hazardous, Coronavirus is causing damage to health and wealth, as well.

Pakistan ‘expected’ to resume international flights by 4th April!

The WHO has declared COVID-19 a pandemic, since almost every country has reported cases of Coronavirus. Governments all around the world are making sure that their people stay safe from the epidemic.

Special assistant to Prime Minister Imran Khan, Moeed Yusuf stated that all international flights, including chartered flight, are suspended for the next two weeks.

Furthermore, the officials have decided to ban air-travel from 8 pm on the 21st of March. Currently, there are more than 500 cases of Coronavirus recorded in Pakistan.

More than 350 positive cases in Sindh and 150 plus cases in Punjab. The government is even on the verge to lock down the entire country as the pandemic has now gained full strength in Pakistan.

Government’s efforts on fighting the novel Coronavirus!

Pakistan’s government is making sure that all the arrangements are done as supervised and acknowledged by the World Health Organization (WHO).

Moreover, it was also decided to suspend all operations for international passengers, recently. Consequently, all these regulations will be applied on chartered and private flights, as well.

Diplomats and special aircraft are exempted from the said conditions, nonetheless, the screening process will be strict on arrival for them.

Recently, Special Assistant to the Prime Minister on Information and Broadcasting, Dr. Firdous Ashiq Awan; spoke to the media about the chaotic situation.

In her interview, she revealed that the country was leaning towards a complete lockdown.

However, the Aviation and National Security Division might soon announce the ‘overall lockdown’ decision if finalized.

Previously, Ex-Senator, Waqar Gulzar’s sister was diagnosed with Coronavirus. Emphasizing that the situation has grown to be quite out of control, all we can do is follow the advice of the doctors and health officials.

The Chief Minister of Punjab, Usman Buzadr also pleaded people to stay indoors and follow the precautions. He also visited and monitored the arrangements made in order to control the pandemic.

Analyzing the grave situation, recently, Sindh Agriculture Minister Muhammad Ismail Rahoo has asked the government to waive utility bills for two whole months.

Like others, Pakistanis are also facing complete social distancing; meaning that people are not permitted able to go out until necessary.
