These Pakistani Celebrities are Clapping their Hands for a Great Cause and it is Simply an Eye-Opener!

Being born as a transgender is no less than opening your eyes to a society where you are considered sinful and impure. Even after living in this 21st century, the mindset has still remained narrow and getting narrower where there is no place for transgenders to be recognized as a part of this community. However, maybe slowly, but many are striving to make a continuous effort to change this perception. This time, the ‘Asia Pacific Transgender Network’ has started a campaign with the hashtag #ChangeTheClap to let people know that there is a lot more to transgenders. They came up with the initiative of providing them an acceptable and reputable life.

A GREAT INITIATIVE

To create a big impact, they started off with a video which was 1:29 minutes wherein each scene, they have beautifully depicted the daily life struggles of a transgender. The video features Kami Sid, who in the end, creates an everlasting impression of how the mockery of cat-calling at transgenders needs to stop. Kudos to all the Pakistani celebrities and the mango people, who came up to join the initiative and are proudly taking part in it. These little steps towards bringing a big change shows how the citizens of this country are growing both inside out.
