Umair Jaswal was born on 20 December 1986. His place of birth is Islamabad. Umair’s father is “one of the best scientists in Pakistan”. Umair Jaswal completed his Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from Bahria University Islamabad.

Talking about his marriage, during the Covid-19 period in 2020 Umair Jaswal married Sana Javed on 20 October 2020.

Sana Javed is also an actress. Their marriage took place most simplistically, the day they shared their Nikaffied pictures with the caption “Alhamdullilah” fans couldn’t hold their happiness and blessed both of them with prayers.

Early Career

He has two brothers Yasir Jaswal and Uzair Jaswal who also happened to be a singer and also sung various famous songs as well.

Umair’s passion for music was built up from an early stage of life and that’s what he followed.

He started his music career back in 2008, by joining the rock band Qayaas. His style of singing was unique and fans liked it. He became popular for his songs Tanha and Umeed.

In 2012, Umair’s band joined coke studio season 5 where they collaborated with none other than Atif Aslam in a song called “ Charkha Nolakha.

Later the band released their debut album Uss Paar in 2011 with Umair as a lead vocalist. The songs Halaak and Inquilaab from the album were featured in the film Waar.

In the next season of Coke Studio, Umair Jaswal decided to go solo, and since he didn’t join any band. 2013 was considered to be one of the changing years for him because he was nominated as Pakistan’s youth ambassador by the International Human Rights Commission.

Now heading to the Coke Studio season 8 where things have changed for Umair Jaswal when he joined QB in Sammi Meri Waar. His song two Week received more than two million views and it was bombastic.

Umair shared that he received audio messages, “Man! I’ve received audio messages from places like Iraq. The main idea behind doing this song was to penetrate a bigger market and fortunately, that is exactly what happened” On the other hand, he also received hate comments where people criticized him for moving way overly during the performance and it was exaggerating.

Umair Jaswal also made an acting debut in 2016 in the serial Mor Mahal, playing the lead role alongside Meesha Shafi in which he expressed “I’m honored to be a part of the biggest Pakistani television production to date. I’m sharing the screen with some of the best actors in the industry. Sarmad is a phenomenal storyteller and Sarmad Sehbai is a wordsmith second to none. I can’t wait to share the project with the viewers.”

Lollywood Debut

Umair Jaswal 2017 also made his Lollywood debut in the war epic film Yalghaar as Captain Umair. He was also about to make a big breakthrough in Shoaib Akhtar’s biopic which he announced by himself.

But a few weeks later he then released another statement in which he claimed to be exiting the movie due to personal and creative reasons.
