Personal Life:

Born on September 27, 1982, in Lahore, Aisha moved with her parents to the UAE when she was a child. She completed her schooling there. For higher studies, she enrolled in a Canadian college in Toronto. Aisha Uqbah Malik is known for her glowing skin and well-maintained physique. She is 5 feet, 5 inches tall. In April 2018, she tied the knot with Uqbah Hadeed Malik, who belongs to one of the most affluent families in Pakistan. Her husband is a retired major in the Pakistan Army, while her mother-in-law is a renowned politician. The couple has two beautiful children: a daughter and a son.


While Aisha Khan was still studying, she came to Pakistan for vacations. She auditioned for a drama and passed the screen test with flying colors. Initially, she traveled back and forth from Canada to continue with her education and showbiz career. However, soon enough she chose to stay back in her home country to pursue a full-fledged acting career.

She debuted on the silver screen with the drama serial Ghazi Shaheed, which was aired on PTV. Her unconventional features and fairy-like face took the masses by storm. However, her acting career got a pivotal breakthrough after her sizzling chemistry with Humayun Saeed in the much-acclaimed drama serial Mehendi. People loved the couple so much that they appeared in several other serials after that. While her critics stereotyped her as taking similar roles of a happy-go-lucky girl or the charming Cinderella, she proved her skills by acing difficult roles. Her performance in Masi and Malka where she played the role of an opportunist maid, received much praise. However, it was the drama serial Vasl, directed by Mehreen Jabbar that demonstrated her true acting potential to the fullest. The drastic development of the character from a dependent, devoted, and trusting housewife to an independent and fiercely strong mother, Aisha Khan did complete justice to the character. Later on in her career, she played negative roles as well such as in the serial “Mujhey Khuda pe yaqeen hey” and “Mann Mayal”.

Aisha Khan is a wonderful depiction of a modern, strong, and progressive Pakistani woman who is deeply rooted in her cultural values. She hosted the Nestle Nesvita Women of Strength 2009 show and proved her hosting skills too. She also participated as the judge in Miss Veet Pakistan 2016.

While her film career is brief, her movies played a crucial role in the revival of Pakistani cinema. Both her movies, Waar and Jawani Phir Nahi Ani did tremendous business at the box office.

In March 2018, just before her marriage, Aisha Uqba Malik bid farewell to a prosperous acting career. She embraced the new phase of her life, that is her marriage and family life while freeing herself from professional responsibilities.
