Pakistan Army Captain Abdullah Shah Embraces Martyrdom After Clashing With Terrorists

During an exchange of fire with terrorists in the South Waziristan tribal district’s Shakai area last night, an officer of the Pakistan Army, Captain Abdullah Shah embraced martyrdom on Monday.

On the intelligence of terrorists’ presence in Shakai, South Waziristan, security forces were conducting night patrolling. They wanted to check terrorists move in the Shakai area, said an Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) in a press release on Monday. During one such late-night patrol on Sunday, the terrorists opened fire on the patrolling party, according to the sources.

Captain Abdullah Shah, a 25-year-old resident of Lachi, Kohat, embraced martyrdom when terrorists fired on his patrolling party that night. Moreover, the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) further added that Captain Abdullah was leading the troops.

In addition to this, the statement further read that the troops cordoned off the area for a clearance operation following the incident. On Sunday night, the Pakistan Army lost another precious gem. Yet another valuable life has been sacrificed on the bloodthirsty altar of terrorism. 

Besides this, the police said that the gun battle took place near Shrongai check-post at around 11 pm on Sunday. Moreover, they believe that the attackers used a sniper gun during the exchange. They reportedly flew the body to Kohat.

Additionally, the officials said that terrorists had carried out two attacks against security forces in the area recently. According to the details, it resulted in the martyrdom of three soldiers and injuries to five others.

It took place during an intelligence-based operation (IBO) in Spalga, Miranshah, and North Waziristan – tribal districts of Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa.
