Isn’t it amazing how quickly time passes? David Beckham and Victoria Beckham’s son just got married, Yes, Posh Spice has a son old enough to get married and we are as surprised as you are. The 23-year-old tied the knot with Nicola Peltz, the daughter of billionaire investor Nelson Peltz and model Claudia Heffner on Sunday in the US.
It is the stuff that modern fairytales are made of: a beautiful blonde film star meets a handsome young scion of one of Britain’s most famous — and fashionable — families, sparks fly, and a truly 21st-century romance unfolds.
The newlyweds announced their engagement in the July of 2020. Brooklyn shared an adorable photo of him dressed in a navy suit and Peltz wearing a bright yellow dress on Instagram to share the news.
“Two weeks ago I asked my soulmate to marry me and she said yes. I am the luckiest man in the world. I promise to be the best husband and the best daddy one day. I love you, baby!” Brooklyn wrote alongside the photo.
Nicola had shared the same photo on her Instagram page and called herself the “luckiest girl in the world”. The couple made their relationship Instagram official in January of the same year.
Couple ties the knot
The wedding took place at the Peltz family’s estate in Palm Beach, Florida and, according to Vogue, which has the scoop on the couple’s nuptials, the guest list included two Spice Girls — Mel B and Mel C — tennis superstars Venus and Serena Williams and actor Eva Longoria, among others.
Celebrity chef Gordon Ramsay and his family were in attendance, Marc Anthony took over as DJ, actors Rashida Jones and Kiernan Shipka, filmmakers Michael Bay and M Night Shyamalan, and Kobe Bryant’s daughter Natalia Bryant were also present.
Brooklyn’s best men were his brothers Romeo and Cruz and his father David, the former captain of the English football team, who gave a heartfelt speech to his son and new daughter-in-law.
Conscious of the events unfolding on the other side of the world as they celebrated their wedding, Brooklyn and Nicola partnered with the humanitarian agency Care and invited guests to make donations in their name to help provide aid for women and girls, and families, and the elderly in Ukraine. The bride’s parents were among those making significant donations to the cause.
