Sushant Singh Rajput Had No Friends In Bollywood – Is The Indian Film Industry Fake?

sushant singh death

Many conspiracy theories have been doing rounds after the untimely death of Bollywood actor Sushant Singh Rajput. Apparently, the actor was suffering from depression which resulted in his death. Many of his interviews have been doing rounds now where he discussed how he felt alone in the Bollywood film industry.

However, the same film fraternity who made him feel like an outsider is now mourning the death of the budding actor. Many Bollywood celebs are also calling out the members of the film fraternity for their hypocrisy.

Sushant doesn’t have any friends in the Bollywood industry and was living an outsider life in it despite being immensely talented. He often spoke about the nepotism in the industry. He was constantly let down by the film fraternity. Reportedly, he signed seven films after the success of his Chhichhore, only to lose all seven in a matter of six months.

Acor Vivek Oberoi also called on Bollywood to ‘b***h less and care more. “When I saw his father today, having to light the fire at the cremation, the pain in his eyes was unbearable. When I heard his sister weeping, begging him to come back, I can’t express how deeply tragic it felt,” he wrote.

Social media has called out certain members of the film fraternity for sharing seemingly grief-stricken tributes to him. While having been less than pleasant to him when alive.

Moreover, the sudden display of love for Sushant is ‘a little much to digest’ for actor Saif Ali Khan too. He admitted that though ‘nobody really cares in this town’, they want to come across as empathetic to their fans. He added that people writing lengthy social media posts are unlikely to show the same level of love and compassion in real life.

“I mean, we don’t care about anybody. You know, it’s a very cutthroat line of work. But to pretend that you do care is like the ultimate hypocrisy and I think that’s an insult to the dead, you know, it’s an insult to the soul that’s gone,” he said.

Furthermore, there has been talking of Sushant being failed by bigwigs of the film industry. Filmmaker Shekhar Kapur had tweeted after his demise, “I knew the pain you were going through. I knew the story of the people that let you down so bad that you would weep on my shoulder.”

Kangana Ranaut shared an angry video, in which she said that the late actor was not given his due as he was an outsider, and was constantly told that he was ‘worthless’.

Sushant was found dead at his home and police say he died by suicide. However, his family has denied the suicide claims and has asked for an inquiry. A lot of conspiracies doing around his death but the real reason is still not clear.
