An American woman, Onijha Andrew Robinson, who came to Pakistan for a 19-year-old boy, was sent back to the United States.
According to Deputy Inspector General (DIG) South Asad Raza, the woman was sent back with help from the U.S. Consulate. She left Karachi Airport during the night between February 7 and 8, traveling through Dubai before heading to New York.

Onijha came to Karachi on October 11, 2024, to meet Nidal Ahmed Memon, a resident of Garden East. The two had met online. However, Nidal and his family later refused to meet her.
The woman became famous on social media when Zafar Abbas, the head of the JDC Foundation, posted a video saying she was wandering homeless in Karachi in late January.
After the video went viral, Sindh Governor Kamran Tessori tried to help send her back. However, Onijha initially refused to return.

She later went to the Chhipa welfare office and even staged a sit-in outside Nidal’s house. These incidents also spread widely on social media.
The Sindh Police took her into protective custody and admitted her to Jinnah Hospital’s psychiatric ward, where doctors diagnosed her with bipolar disorder and other health issues.
Once her health improved, the police, with assistance from the U.S. Consulate, sent her back home via Karachi Airport on February 7.
