Pakistani music sensation Ali Zafar has sung a song for coronavirus and people aren’t very happy with it. Ali sang a new rendition of iconic ‘Ko Ko Korina’ as ongoing health emergency in the country has created panic among the citizens.
Ali’s rendition is currently spreading like a virus on social media. Many like it, many dislike it, but #bhaeehazirhai. Ali has been using this hashtag #bhaeehazirhai these days for his every project. It is also gaining a lot of popularity among his fans.
He created the video in order to make people aware of the disease in a light way. Ali sang the song on guitar and told his fans not to get panic and follow the precautionary measures strictly. He wrote the caption, “Ko ko Corona Virus se kaisay larna hai. Ghor se bhaee ka song suno.” [Want to fight against Coronavirus? Listen to brother’s song properly].

However, in this serious health emergency in the country, people don’t find Ali’s song in good taste. The song’s lyrics weren’t too well thought out, and neither was the message. It just talked about how bad the virus is and why you should wash hands, and avoid handshakes and public places.
Also, the public just wasn’t about to put up with another injustice with the hit song ‘Ko Ko Korina’. People are also accusing him of using every opportunity to grab attention.

Earlier, Ali cash-in the opportunity when official anthem of fifth edition Pakistan Super League failed to impress the audience. Where Pakistanis were bashing singers [Ali Azmat, Asim Azhar and Haroon] for spoiling the song, Ali made his own version of PSL 5 anthem. On popular demand, he sang ‘Mela Loot Lia’ which due to Ali’s great marketing skills became an instant hit on social media. The song got the fastest one million views on YouTube.
He even sang a song for women on Women’s Day. Some fans believe that he is trying to get attention by staying in limelight on every important event. However, his die-hard fans are happy to hear from him every now and then.
Coronavirus patients across Pakistan reached 94
Moreover, on the serious note, With 50 new coronavirus cases confirmed over the past 24 hours, the number of COVID-19 patients across Pakistan has reached 94. All new cases were reported in the southern Sindh province, raising the total number in the province to 76, Murtaza Wahab, a provincial government spokesman, said in a tweet.
He said all the new patients had recently returned from Taftan in neighbouring Iran, which has the highest number of cases and deaths after China and Italy.
Furthermore, the country’s other cases have been reported from the capital Islamabad, the southwestern Balochistan and northeastern Punjab provinces, and the northern Gilgit-Baltistan region.
Four of the total 94 patients have recovered so far.
