A day after Indian cricketers Yuvraj Singh and Harbhajan Singh, who faced social media criticism by Indian trolls for backing Shahid Afridi’s foundation in the fight against the coronavirus pandemic, Boom Boom comes out in their support.

When it comes to Pakistan and India, sharing the same platform, the world knows what chaos it can be. As the planet is currently engulfed with the fatal coronavirus swallowing human lives, ‘Lala’ stepped up to help.

In a video message, Harbhajan had urged people to contribute and called on other cricketers in the two countries to make similar appeals. “These are testing times, it’s time to look out for each other,” Yuvraj wrote on Twitter.

While Afridi thanked the two, Indian trolls reacted with fury for supporting the Pakistani player.

Support for Afridi’s #DonateKaroNa initiative

With the initiative #DonateKaroNa, Afridi wants the world cricketer to join in and work for the cause. Among others, former Indian cricketers Harbhajan and Yuvraj also offered to serve humanity. However, things got worse after  Indian trolls bashed the cricketers.

Facing online criticism, both the Indian cricketers then deleted their supportive tweets made for Afridi’s donation campaign. Moreover, with a heavy heart, Yuvraj Singh earlier responded to all the bashing and cleared his stance for the naive Indians. Later, the response was then shared by Afridi with an appreciating caption for Harbhajan and Yuvraj.

Clearing the stance, Yuvraj Singh posted again on Twitter and said, ”I really don’t understand how a message to help the most vulnerable blows out of proportion.”

Indian doing what they do best

The response shows that despite the deteriorated political ties between the countries, the Indian cricketer was all in to serve humanity. Later, Harbhajan Singh also retweeted Yuvraj’s post showing solidarity with him in this uncertain situation. On the contrary, Indians, yet again, pulled out their imbecile strings and started bashing their cricket heroes.

This isn’t something new from the Indians as they keep pulling off such dirt towards Pakistan. While this freakshow goes on, Afridi has gathered support from several local and international cricketer for his #DonateKaroNa initiative. Hopefully, this deadly pandemic will end soon and let’s pray for the extremist Indians who don’t understand the word ‘humanity’.
