Deedar is a well-known name in Pakistani Punjabi theater. She became famous as a dancer and then tried acting. Although Deedar didn’t plan to join showbiz, her older sister, Nargis, introduced her to the media world. At the height of her career, Deedar left stage dancing. She now has two sons.
Recently, Deedar appeared on the show Zabardast with Wasi Shah, where she opened up about her biggest regret and guilt.

Talking about her biggest regret, Deedar shared that she was upset with her sister before she passed away. “I wasn’t speaking to her, and then she passed away. I often think that I should have talked to her so she could have left happily. This thought really troubles me,” she said. Deedar also recalled a similar regret with a cousin who passed away at age 23. She shared, “I was angry at her and didn’t answer her calls. Now, I wish I had listened to her.”
Speaking about her feelings of guilt, Deedar said, “Sometimes I think if I hadn’t joined showbiz, my life might have been different. I thank Allah for the fame and money, but sometimes I feel this isn’t truly my place. Media people are not always accepted in our society. Sometimes, I wish I could just be a housewife.”
