GWM Launches ORA 5 in Pakistan, Bringing Long-Range EV Performance at a Competitive Price

ORA 5

GWM has officially launched the ORA 5 in Pakistan, adding a new electric SUV to the country’s rapidly developing EV market. Combining a substantial battery, extended driving range, premium interior features and SUV proportions, the ORA 5 enters the segment with a competitive price of PKR 8,599,000.

One of the vehicle’s biggest highlights is its 58.33 kWh battery, which delivers a claimed range of up to 435 km under WLTP and 520 km under NEDC. The WLTP figure places the ORA 5 among the longest-range offerings in its segment, with approximately 100 km more claimed range than the BYD Atto 3.

The focus on range is complemented by the vehicle’s dimensions. The ORA 5 delivers the size, dimensions and road presence expected of a modern SUV, offering a spacious cabin and substantial presence on the road. Its dimensions are comparable to options such as the BYD Atto 3. This translates into a spacious cabin, practical proportions and a substantial road presence, allowing buyers to move to an EV without downsizing their vehicle.

ORA 5 features a high-quality cabin, ventilated front seats

Inside, GWM has taken a premium approach. The ORA 5 features a high-quality cabin, ventilated front seats, generous legroom and a panoramic glass roof that adds to the sense of space and openness. These features position the vehicle as more than simply a practical electric option, with a clear emphasis on comfort and the overall ownership experience.

The ORA 5 is also available in six colour options, giving customers greater flexibility when choosing the appearance of their vehicle.

With its combination of range, size, premium features and competitive pricing, the GWM ORA 5 arrives at a time when Pakistani consumers have more interest in EVs but are increasingly evaluating them on the same fundamentals as conventional vehicles: how far they can travel, how much space they offer, what features they provide and, ultimately, how much value they deliver. The ownership proposition is further strengthened by GWM’s warranty coverage of 8 years or 150,000 km, whichever comes first, adding further confidence for customers making the transition to electric mobility.
