MG Motor Pakistan has introduced the all-new MG4 EV Urban, a modern electric hatchback designed to make electric vehicle ownership more practical for everyday drivers and families in Pakistan.
As interest in electric vehicles continues to grow, many consumers still look for a clear balance between electric range, charging convenience, safety, technology, and daily usability. The MG4 EV Urban has been positioned to address these expectations by offering a well-equipped EV designed for urban routines and family needs.
The vehicle comes with a 43-kWh battery paired with a front-wheel-drive electric motor that produces 110 kW of power and 250 Nm of torque. With up to 316 km WLTP range on a single charge, the MG4 EV Urban offers enough usability for daily commutes, school runs, family movement, and city-based travel.
Charging convenience is another important part of the package. The MG4 EV Urban supports both AC and DC charging, allowing owners to charge based on their routine and convenience. AC charging can be used for regular charging needs, while DC fast charging enables the battery to charge from 10% to 80% in approximately 28 minutes.
Beyond range and charging, the MG4 EV Urban also offers practical family usability. Its spacious cabin provides comfort for passengers, while the trunk space can accommodate family luggage, groceries, school bags, and other daily essentials. This makes the vehicle suitable for customers who want to shift to electric mobility without compromising on everyday practicality.
Adding another layer of customer value around the MG4 Urban launch, MG Shield – the exclusive partner of MG JW – has introduced a complimentary breast cancer treatment coverage benefit for eligible MG Shield customers. Under this offer, women customers, as well as spouses of male customers, can receive breast cancer treatment coverage of up to PKR 2 million with MG Shield motor insurance or takaful on cash or deferred payment plans.
The benefit applies to eligible female MG Shield customers or spouses of male customers between the ages of 18 and 59. It is offered at no additional cost with MG Shield motor insurance/takaful. Pre-existing conditions will not be covered, and claims can be launched after one month of policy issuance.
Inside the cabin, the MG4 EV Urban offers a connected and comfortable driving experience. Key features include a 12.8-inch HD infotainment touchscreen, wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, heated front seats, and wireless charging. These features make the vehicle relevant for today’s digitally connected drivers and families.
Safety has also been given strong attention. The vehicle includes MG Pilot Advanced Driver Assistance Systems, along with Adaptive Cruise Control, Autonomous Emergency Braking, Blind Spot Detection, Lane Keep Assist, and a 540-degree HD camera system with 360-degree visibility and transparent chassis view.
Globally, the MG4 has already achieved strong success, with more than 200,000 units sold worldwide. Its arrival in Pakistan gives local consumers access to an EV platform that has already been tested and accepted in international markets.
