The Intermediate Part 2 results for 2025 were announced on September 18 across nine boards, including Lahore, Faisalabad, and Gujranwala. This year’s results once again highlighted the success of female students, who outshined males in every stream, both in private and government institutions.
Out of 335 top positions, private colleges secured a clear lead with 283 positions (84%), while government and semi-government institutions earned 52 (16%). The Punjab Group of Colleges dominated by securing 143 top spots – more than half of the total positions! The remaining 139 positions were shared by other private colleges.
Pass percentages varied across boards, showing different trends: Federal Board recorded the highest with 81.10%, DG Khan followed with 74.86%, and Lahore stood at 60.86%.
