Fatal Accident Water Tanker Kills Motorcyclist on University Road in Karachi

A water tanker struck and killed two motorcyclists on University Road in Karachi, according to ARY News.

Details show that the accident happened near Safari Park. A water truck hit and killed one motorcyclist and injured another.

On February 18, a water tanker in Karachi struck another man, resulting in his death.

Details say that the terrible accident happened near Jail Chowrangi, and a fast water tanker hit a motorcycle. The man suffered severe injuries and passed away immediately.

The person who died was named Gulshan Rasheed. His body has been taken to a hospital so that legal and medical procedures can be done on it.

At the same time, the event caused a lot of anger, and frustrated people set fire to five water tanks. Within minutes, the fire department arrived and put out the flames.

The rescue service said that there have been 107 deaths in road accidents in Karachi in the first 45 days of 2025, which is a terrible sign. There are 78 men, 14 women, 11 children, and 4 girls among the dead.

A report from the Chhipa Welfare Association says that these events hurt at least 1,493 people and killed at least one person. There are 6290 men, 193 women, 42 children, and 18 girls among those injured.
