Jaswal rushed to Instagram on Wednesday to share a poster of himself donning Akhtar’s number 14 jersey. “I’m honoured to play Mr. Shoaib Akhtar, the living great, on the big screen in Rawalpindi Express.” May Allah’s blessings be with us while we pursue our goals. “We are excited to deliver you a first-of-its-kind biographical film deserving of worldwide recognition,” the ‘Gagar’ singer said.

Muhammad Faraz Qaiser directed the film, which was written by Qaiser Nawaz and produced by Q Films Productions.
“The film will stretch from 1975 to 2002 and will require an actor to demonstrate physical metamorphosis.” Umair Jaswal is a sports and fitness fanatic who has been working on his body and fitness level for several months. “His passion is unrivalled, and he understands the seriousness of the job, as well as the commitment required to bring the persona of famous cricketer Shoaib Akhtar to life on screen,” Faraz stated in a press release.
