On Monday, a minor boy was caught stealing a car from the Sea View area, Karachi. The police gave him a warning and let him off. He was allowed to go with his parents.
However, on Tuesday, the police detained the 9-year-old, named Bilal. According to the Darakshan Police Station, an action had to be taken against the boy. He was taken into custody.
The officers from the Darakhshan Police Station said that the boy had stolen the car from Khayaban-e-Mujahid. A Footage from closed-circuit television (CCTV) is found of the 9-year-old boy in the act of stealing a car.

This video got shared publicly, and it is now viral on the Internet. The police are reported to have said that this boy belonged to Machar Colony. It is also reported that the child likes to drive and has stolen a number of motorcycles in the past.

According to the police, the 9-year-old boy mostly drives the vehicles until and unless the fuel runs out. In addition, they stated that once the fuel runs out, the child leaves the vehicle there.
The police started chasing the car as soon as they got information regarding it. They tried to study how the kid gets away with his robbery. He was found to be skillfully opening the car door within a few seconds. The police decided to finally take action after the recent incident.
As the kid is a minor, the police could not arrest him. He is, however, given a strict warning by the authorities. The car that he was caught stealing around the Sea View area was soon recovered by the police.
As per the details, the boy noticed that the car was not locked and saw nobody around. Seeing the opportunity, he managed to get in the car and drove away.
Why are kids exposed to such atrocities? In fact, the very first question that rise is how a 9-year-old kid managed to drive the vehicles. Why are parents so unaware of what their children are up to?
Additionally, according to the police, the father of the minor is a drug addict.
