Irrfan Khan’s sad demise has truly shaken the core of the Hindi film industry along with every Irrfan khan fan who followed the actor’s work with passion and zeal. Following the death of the beloved actor, his wife, Sutapa Sikdar has posted a heart-wrenching letter paying a well deserving tribute to the actor and what he stood for.
The letter addressed to the world from Sutapa, and their sons Babil and Ayaan start with an opening statement that truly showcases their courage and dedication to the fine actor.
Keeping Irrfan’s twitter handle alive, the family posted the eulogy from the actor’s account. In hopes of keeping his legacy alive.
She writes, “How can I write this as a family statement when the whole world is taking it as a personal loss? How can I begin to feel alone when millions are grieving with us at the moment?”
She furthermore adds, “I want to assure everyone that this is not a loss, it is a gain. It’s a gain of the things he taught us, and now we shall finally begin to truly implement it and evolve. Yet I want to try to fill in the things that people don’t already know.”

It is amazing how her words sound so strong and courageous as the family is going through such traumatic times.
In the long letter, Sutapa has also addressed her sons and asked them to share with the world the lessons they have learnt from their valiant father.
The boys shared the life lessons they learnt from their father. Babil Khan wrote, “Learn to surrender to the dance of uncertainty and trust your faith in the universe.” Ayaan Khan wrote, “Learn to control your mind and to not let it control you.”
It is truly amazing to see how a family suffering from such a great loss, is standing tall and steady. Thu,s thanking the world for their condolences and prayers and so truly standing united as a proud family of a kind and loving father and husband.
Bollywood superstar Irrfan Khan passed away on Wednesday after a prolonged illness. He was diagnosed with a rare form of cancer in 2018 and was admitted to the intensive care unit (ICU) of a Mumbai hospital with a colon infection.
A day after Irrfan’s death, Babil also took to Instagram where he humbly portrayed his gratitude and thanked the world for all the support and love the family had been showered within the days of illness, leading to his father’s death. He also requested that though he is grateful he is not in a state to respond to everyone and would wholeheartedly appreciate people giving the family the time and space they deserve.
