While the corrupt political bodies have mansions in their names in and out of Pakistan, average Pakistani just dreams of it. Previously, a video of Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) Chairman Bilawal Bhutto’s house in Lahore created chaos on social media. However, the unfortunate Pakistanis are yet again betrayed as PAF now tries to convince Fazaia Housing Scheme’s scam victims over losses.

This was indeed an unexpected turn out of incidents as the state protecting authorities also seem helpless. Certainly, in the video, the official, in his duty uniform is explaining the loss bearers about the issues that lead it to this point. Apparently, as per the PAF official, the other party involved in the Fazaia project turned out to be fraudulent and betrayed them.
“We got involved with ‘wrong’, ‘untrustworthy’ and ‘shameless’ people”!
Earlier this week, after analyzing the delayed responses, the Karachites gathered in protest at Fazaia Housing Scheme’s office. Holding banners with ‘refund’ written on it, the loss bearers were entertained by an official of PAF. While convincing the protestors, the official called the project partners ‘shameless’, ‘wrong’ and ‘untrustworthy’ and that they admit their mistake.
Starting his interaction, the official said, “It was unfortunate. We got involved with ‘wrong’, ‘untrustworthy’ and ‘shameless’ people”. Further, he maintained the conversation with the money of Pakistanis who invested in the project. Upon being asked for the money, the PAF official said, “Your (investors) money is currently in a joint account”.

Trying to satisfy the protestors about money, the official assured that the investors don’t need to worry about it. Moreover, he accepted the mistake that the PAF had given whole access and control to the other party. Further, the official said that not only the civilians but PAF’s retired officers and bureaucrats are also among the loss bearers of the Fazaia Housing Scheme.

It was indeed a horrifying time in those who put their money in the Fazaia project. While the National Accountability Burau (NAB) is discovering items worth millions from a former government employee, an average Pakistani is fighting to live. However, hopes are high after the authorities interacted with the loss bearers and entertained their concerns.
