Every Pakistani who has a Twitter profile or is a frequent user knows how much of a loud mouth Hamza Ali Abbasi is. The actor who styles himself as an analyst, TV host and activist continue to remain a highlight on the social media for a number of reasons.
Hamza Ali Abbasi has always met with criticism for certain statements on Twitter. You could see him openly bashing politicians, which is customary practice or you could see him passing remarks that would absolutely boggle your mind. Regardless if you are a fan, you must agree that this guy probably needs to chill. Just recently, he went after a renowned Pakistani Physicist, Pervez Hoodbhoy who called the government’s decision to ban everything on Valentine’s Day.

Hamza Ali Abbasi popped out of nowhere and he goes like…
What in the world? Where did that even come from, seriously?

This has stirred another wave of controversy on social media in Pakistan. People are baffled by what Hamza just said, most importantly, how he could openly call out a noble Physicist who makes so much sense at the moment.
Pakistanis were quick to react and not many people were happy with what Hamza said
This is so stupid on so many levels.
First that post is about our misplaced priorities not religion. Second , ek actor hoker aap religious and politics pe baat ker saktay ho to woh kion nahi. What kind if hypocrisy is this?— undone (@shaat_up) February 10, 2018
Fire in the hole
How can he launch a rocket? He is not soace scientist. He is a nuclear scientist. And he is retired. On the other hand you are a molvi, actor, preacher, politician, social scientist and Science expert all in one . PH’s students lead Pakistan’s top defence institutions. Wt u do?

There you go!
Your incessant volley & thunder is ludicrous and un-necessary.
PH has not asked Ms to make rockets. The point being made, was with regards to the general direction we’re taking in our society.
Sadly I can confirm that beauty and brains are not equally present in your being

There goes a valid point
1) Dr Abdus Salam was focused on his work, what Pakistan did to him?
2) Hoodboy has written many remarkable research papers, he isn't a businessman to launch his own space program
3) He just stated science is more important then stopping ppl from valentine, what's your point?

Shortly after Hamza Ali Abbasi realized that Pakistanis weren’t having it at all, he went on to clear his statement a notch up. He tried to give another perspective of what he really meant and this is what he had to say:

Boy, oh boy!
Dear Mufti Hamza, if we can expect actors to teach us morality, ethics and piety, then why can't Dr. Hoodbhoy expect molvis to teach physics? For heaven's sake, get some filters on, already.

Well guys, just another day Hamza locking horns with a person. But there’s a lot to take away from this one about the ignorant mentality prevailing in so many mindsets.
What do you guys make up of this?
