The political spectrum in Pakistan is buzzing with #NA-120 elections held for the appointment of a Prime Minister. After former PM Nawaz Sharif as a result of the Panama case verdict got disqualified, Shahid Khaqan Abbasi took over as interim Prime Minister before official elections for the NA-120 seats were held.

Fast forward a month, the elections finally took place and the primary candidates forward were Begum Kulsoom Nawaz (wife of Nawaz Sharif) from PML-N and Dr. Yasmeen Rashif from PTI. A rivalrous competition led by votes engaged between them. Live updates and unofficial results were prompted all over national television and social media. This election remained the highlight of the weekend and Pakistanis on social media were fully engaged.
