6 Times Donald Trump Said The Most Outrageous Things About Muslims

“Make America Great Again” – the slogan of the newly elected American president, Donald Trump. Most of the people hate Trump because of his misogynistic behavior and how he disrespects women. Aside from this, his racist remarks on American minorities, including the Muslims has caused a lot of tension in the minds of immigrants.

Approximately 3.3 million Muslims are currently living in the USA, making it 1% of their total population. Trump targeted the entire Muslim race when he made outrageous, threatening remarks. While removing of Muslims from American soil is not something that can happen overnight, Muslims still felt threatened not on being thrown out, but how the extremist and minority-hating Americans will treat them. Statements like the following ones are what made sure that Trumps hates Muslims:

1. “A Complete Shutdown Of Muslims Coming To The USA”

On 7th December 2015, Trump, in his speech, told how he plans on banning Muslims from American soil:

“Donald J. Trump is calling for a total and complete shutdown of Muslims entering the United States until our country’s representatives can figure out what the hell is going on. It’s a temporary ban. It hasn’t been called for yet, nobody’s done it.” he said on Fox News Radio.

2. Shameful Remarks On Khizr And Ghazala Khan

Trump was publicly bashed by the parents of Shaheed US army captain Humayun Khan, Khizr and Ghazala Khan. Given how he had mocked Muslims, the parents of the martyred came in the limelight and told Trump that, “you have sacrificed nothing and no one.”

Not letting go of any chance to mock Muslims, Trump commented on how Ghazala stood “silently and how her husband did not allow her to speak” as if it was something Islam has implemented on Muslims. In counter to this, Ghazala broke her silence and expressed on how emotional she gets when the topic of her son is raised.

3. Pulling Back Aid Given To Pakistan

NDTV in 2011 reported that Trump has asked for an immediate pull back on the aid that is given to Pakistan. “They are not friends of ours. (There are) plenty of other terrorists in Pakistan, we know that,” added Trump.

4. Believing The Muslims Are Not Sports Heroes

With the likes of Muhammad Ali, Kareem Abdul-Jabbar and Shaq O’Neil, seems like Trump’s hatred for Muslims overshadowed how he has no idea about the Muslims present in the all-time top 25 athletes in the US. Much to our surprise, Trump met Muhammad Ali on a number of occasions as well:

On 22nd November 2015, Trump in an interview with an ABC representative said, “There were people that were cheering on the other side of New Jersey where you have large Arab populations. . . They were cheering as the World Trade Center came down. I know it might be not politically correct for you to talk about it, but there were people cheering as that building came down.”

6. “Deport the Immigrants”

Trump believes that the “birthright citizenship” policy needs to end as it grants children of the “illegal immigrants” the citizens.
