Because of all the paunch increasing sugary treats that are about to come our way! Mithai, halwa and trifles galore will rule the next three days of your life (and stomach)!
While stuffing our faces at other people’s houses is the ideal situation, there’s always something about more dessert waiting for you at home that gets you feeling warm and fuzzy. The ride home after you’re done visiting for the day are spent in like the most rabid anticipation of more decadent goodness to come!
But no one ever wants to be the one slaving away in the kitchen all day, making enough dessert for both the guests and the bottomless pit that is your stomach. Finding recipes with the perfect combination of effortless cooking and deliciousness is SO. HARD. So, in preparation for Eid, we’ve found 5 of the yummiest desserts you can make in under 15 minutes!

4. Mocha Java Custard
What can only be described as the ultimate and most heavenly triad of desserts: coffee, chocolate and vanilla, this delectable dish takes the cake (pun intended)!
Tea cake : 1 pound
Milk : 1 liter
Sugar : 1/2 cup
National Vanilla Custard : 1 tablespoon
Chocolate Chips : 1/2 cup
Instant Coffee : 1 tablespoon
Whip Cream : 1 1/2 cup
Cocoa Powder : 1 teaspoon to garnish
Cutting up cake slices by 1/4 inch thick, place them in a deep serving dish. Bringing milk to boil with sugar, add National’s Vanilla Custard mix into 1/4 cup of water with chocolate chips and coffee. Letting it cook till it thickens, once it’s done, pour it over the cake and cover the custard with whip cream once cooler, chilling it in the fridge for 3-4 hours before serving the mouth-watering delight!
5. Stuffed French Toast
Okay, yes, we know this is technically a breakfast dish, but whoever thought to make it into a dessert is a bona-fide GENIUS.
