2000 Passports Banned by the Government, on the grounds of Begging Abroad

The federal government announced the blockage of 2000 passports, on Sunday amidst begging charges. Authorities have reached out to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs for a list.

Sources claim those involved in begging will face a 7-year ban. Furthermore, a spokesperson from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs said “Beggars traveling abroad bring disgrace to the nation,”.
