One of the purposes of fasting in Ramadan is so that we can know what it is that poor and underprivileged people go through for most of the year. By the end of Ramadan, all of us are a lot more sympathetic towards them because we’ve felt what they do.
But that’s not enough. After going through what they do for an entire month, we can’t just turn our backs on them. We must do whatever we can to help.
